Gov't officials, TV executives meet in aftermath of auction
Representatives of the four private TV channels that won the licenses auctioned off last week will on Monday meet with State Minister Nikos Pappas, government spokeswoman Olga Gerovasili and the general secretary for information and communication Lefteris Kretsos.

Gov't says Turkish asylum requests to be examined in light of coup attempt
The Greek government will examine the asylum requests of eight people who landed at Alexandroupolis airport on Saturday aboard a Turkish military helicopter as dictated by international laws, government spokeswoman Olga Gerovasili said.

Athens backs the "democratically elected government" in Turkey, government spokesperson Olga Gerovasili said early Saturday following the attempted military coup in the neighboring country.
