Sappers of Belene Help in the Battle with Snowdrifts
Ground troop soldiers help the population in the severe winter environment, the Ministry of Defense said. Specialist officers of the 55th Engineer Regiment - Belene under the command of Captain Yordan Yordanov, with chain and specialized equipment from the 55th Engineers Regiment, went to the villages of Lozitsa, Lyubenovo and Vabel.
Sweden to replace its entire anti-aircraft system
The current anti-aircraft system used by the Swedish Armed Forces is ageing, and is to be replaced in full amid airborne threats changing character, The Local writes.
Sweden's surface-to-air Hawk missiles (Robotsystem 97) were first developed by Raytheon in the US at the end of the 1950s. The system has since been upgraded many times, but now needs replacing.

Turkey's struggle against Gülen requires great care
The owner of daily newspaper Sözcü, Burak Akbay, its website manager Mediha Olgun, and its İzmir correspondent Gökmen Ulu are all accused of "aiding a terror organization while not being a member of it." A state funeral is being held in Ankara for former Turkish President and seven-time Prime Minister Süleyman Demirel, who died aged 90 on June 17.
Demirel's body was taken from his house on Güniz Street, located in the Tunal? neighborhood of Ankara, at 8 a.m. on June 19, and brought to the Turkish parliament for the state ceremony that was held between 9 and 9:45 a.m.
