Giants clash in Turkish Super Cup
Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray will renew Turkish footballâs greatest rivalry in the Turkish Super Cup game in the Aegean province of Manisa today.
The meeting between Super League winner Fenerbahçe and Turkish Cup titleholder Galatasaray will mark the official start of the new season in Turkish football, with the domestic league set to start this weekend.

Galatasaray ready to sign Prandelli
Italian coach Cesare Prandelli is set to officially sign a contract with Galatasaray today.
The 56-year-old arrived in Istanbul on club chairman Ãnal Aysalâs private jet and is set to sign the two-year deal at the Türk Telekom Arena, the clubâs stadium, at 2 p.m. Prandelli will receive 1.75 million euros plus bonuses per year, according to the Turkish media.

Galatasaray in talks with Cesare Prandelli
Galatasaray has confirmed it is in talks with former Italy coach Cesare Prandelli about taking over as manager of the Istanbul club.
Prandelli resigned from Italy immediately after the Azzurri's loss to Uruguay in the World Cup, which onsigned his team to a disappointing group stage exit.

Galatasaray in talks with David Moyes for coaching job
Galatasaray is in talks with Scottish coach David Moyes for its vacant managerial post, according to reports.
Moyes, who is currently out of a job after departing Manchester United, arrived in Istanbul on June 27 to start talks with the Turkish club.
Roberto Mancini parts ways with Galatasaray after less than a season in charge
Italian coach Roberto Mancini has left Turkish giants Galatasaray by mutual agreement after less than a season in charge, the club announced on June 11.
"Our relationship with the coach Roberto Mancini and his contract of
employment, which was signed on 1 October, 2013, has been terminated by
mutual agreement," the club said in a statement.
Mancini to stay at Galatasaray
Roberto Mancini will remain the Galatasaray coach, Turkish media reported June 10, after weeks of rumors that the former Manchester City and Inter man would part ways with the Istanbul club.
Mancini took over from Fatih Terim in the early stages of the season and led Galatasaray to the second place in the league. He also won this year's Cup trophy with the Lions.
