Bulgarian President Rumen Radev is set to perform a demonstration flight in an F-16 fighter jet, following an invitation from the US Air Force, according to a statement from the president's administration.

Speaking at a Bulgarian-Chinese business forum marking the 75th anniversary of the People's Republic of China, Radev highlighted Bulgaria's low taxes and skilled personnel as key advantages for investment.

The second caretaker cabinet led by Dimitar Glavchev was formally sworn in before the National Assembly today. The ceremony took place during an extraordinary parliamentary session convened by Speaker Raya Nazaryan at 11:00 a.m., with the sole agenda item being the oath-taking of the new government members. Following the swearing-in, the session was promptly adjourned.

At noon today, August 22, Radev is scheduled to meet with Glavchev at the presidential palace to formally appoint him and direct him to propose the composition of an interim government.
