The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) has acquitted war commander Naser Oric, whom Serbia is seeking for war crimes against prisoners of Serb ethnicity in the Bratunac and Srebrenica areas. The BiH Prosecutor's Office filed charges against Naser Oric and Sabahudin Muhic on August 27 2015.

The state court in Bosnia-Herzegovina's capital, Sarajevo, is set to deliver its verdict on October 9 on whether Bosnian Muslim wartime commander Naser Oric is a war criminal.

Oric, 50, is accused of war crimes against three Serb prisoners of war who were murdered in the Srebrenica area in 1992.

The trial of Naser Oric and Sabahudin Muhic starts on Tuesday before the Court of Bosnia-Herzegovina.

They are charged with killing Serb prisoners in 1992 in the area of ​​Srebrenica and Bratunac, eastern Bosnia.

The Court of Bosnia-Herzegovina has confirmed the recently raised indictment against Naser Oric and Sabahudin Muhic.

Oric was the wartime commander of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia-Herzegovina (ARBiH) in the Srebrenica region.
