Ecaterina Andronescu indicted in Microsoft case
The National Anti-corruption Department (DNA) indicted on Thursday former Minister of Education Ecaterina Andronescu in the Microsoft licensing case.
"I didn't give a statement. I had a discussion with Ms. Prosecutor. I am suspected of abusing office," Andronescu said upon leaving the DNA seat.
She denied having been indicted for other crimes.

Deputies Chamber approves request for MP Vreme criminal prosecution
The lower Deputies' Chamber at a plenary sitting on Monday passed a 153 to 110 vote to approve the request made by the National Anti-Corruption Directorate (DNA) to start the criminal prosecution of independent deputy Valerian Vreme, Chamber Secretary Ion Marcel Ciolacu announced.
The vote was secret, with Vreme being the only deputy to address the debates.
