DYPA jobs fair goes abroad, starting from Germany
The Public Employment Service (DYPA) and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security are organizing this month the first "Career Day" abroad, in Duesseldorf, Germany.
The jobs fair, organized together with the Foreign Ministry, will take place on Saturday, December 14, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time, at the Kö59 Hotel (Koenigsallee 59, 40215).

Cadastre the first state service to use AI tools
The Hellenic Cadastre, which is due on Thursday to launch the use of artificial intelligence applications on a trial basis until September, will become the first Greek state service to use AI, Deputy Digital Governance Minister Konstantinos Kyranakis told Skai television in an interview on Wednesday.

Doukas insists he will remain Athens mayor if elected leader of PASOK
Haris Doukas reiterated on Thursday that he intends to remain Mayor of Athens if he is elected leader of socialist PASOK in an October contest.
"I have explained the dual role. It is a complementary role, these are communicating vessels even though it has never been implemented in Greece," Doukas told Skai television.

Greek-US defense deal aims at boosting ‘qualitative advantage,’ says PM
Greece is seeking to acquire a "qualitative advantage" over Turkey that will bolster its deterrence capabilities and equip its Armed Forces to deal with modern challenges, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis told Skai radio on Tuesday, speaking about an ongoing defense agreement with the United States.

Man killed in accident at US Embassy worksite
A worker has been reported killed at a construction site in the US Embassy in Athens, after being crushed by a wall on Wednesday morning.
According to TV broadcaster Skai, the man was rushed to the capital's Evangelismos Hospital where his death was confirmed.
The circumstances that led to the accident are being investigated.
