Crisis Staff members reveal what awaits us as of tomorrow

From today's statements of the members of the Crisis Staff, one can guess in which direction their decision will go, at least judging by what the members of the medical part of the staff said, who are otherwise in favor of stricter measures. Immunologist Dr Srdja Jankovic explained for RTV what, in his opinion, should work and what facilities should be closed.

1.578 newly infected, 21 people died

21 people died, according to the data from the Covid.rs website.
So far, a total of 374.111 cases of infection have been registered in Serbia, while 3.771 patients have died.
The mortality rate is 1.01 percent.
In the last 24 hours, 9.040 people were tested, and a total of 2.485.591 since the outbreak of the epidemic.

Dr Janković warns: the epidemic is not subsiding, it is heating up

At the moment, the epidemic is not subsiding, but is flaring up, Srdja Jankovic warns.
He told Radio Television of Serbia that ten days, as long as the new measures are limited, is the minimum period after which anything about the change of the epidemic curve could be noticed, at least some favorable or less unfavorable trend.

Six more deaths from coronavirus confirmed; "Emergency measures can be re-introduced"

Two men and four women have died from COVID-19, bringing death toll to 185, with a mortality rate of 2.01 percent.
5.906 people were tested, and 196 samples turned back positive.
A total number of COVID-19 cases was 9.205, while 1.379 patients have recovered so far.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic in Serbia, a total of 91.551 people were tested.

For the last 24 hours, six people have died, two men and four women, bringing death tall to 179 since the start of epidemic.
At the same time, 1.343 patients recovered.
The Crisis Staff team said that 6.703 people were tested in the last 24 hours, and 285 patients were infected with the coronavirus until 3 pm on Wednesday.

No mitigation of measures for at least two more weeks

In Serbia, four people have died in the last 24 hours due to coronavirus.
A total of 3.281 people were tested in that period, 224 of who tested positive for coronavirus bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 7.114.
The bulletin said that 3.226 patients have been hospitalized, with 103 patients on respirators.
