Greek PM meets with opposition leaders of Potami and PASOK groups

Radical Left Coalition (SYRIZA) Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis met with centrist Potami (River) leader Stavros Theodorakis at the government headquarters, Maximos Mansion, at 10 a.m. on Tuesday. Theodorakis said that he discussed all possible scenarios regarding the negotiations with Greece’s international creditors.

Opposition parties leaders on ‘Greek issue’

Political party leaders took turns at Parliament’s podium on Friday for an off-the-agenda session on the “Greek issue”, with centrist Potami leader Stavros Theodorakis addressing the legislature after PM Alexis Tsipras and main opposition leader Antonis Samaras.

Theodorakis called for the government to deal with its “internal opposition” and seek a national consensus.

To Potami pledges to back loan

Greece's fourth-largest party, pro-EU To Potami, on Thursday pledged to back a new deal between the country and its creditors that could face a rocky ride through parliament.

"Whichever agreement comes to parliament, all To Potami lawmakers will vote for it, without haggling, because the country needs oxygen," party leader Stavros Theodorakis told Skai TV.
