Her mother was a Neanderthal, but her father was Denisovan, a distinct species of primitive human that also roamed the Eurasian continent 50,000 years ago, scientists reported Wednesday in the journal Nature.

The Athens Science Festival (ASF) opens its door to public on Tuesday at the City of Athens Technopolis Centre in Gazi, for the third consecutive year, running from 5 to 10 April with a focus on “Evolving with Science”.
