Senate Chairman Calin Popescu Tariceanu says the resignation of Klaus Iohannis as first deputy chairman of the National Liberal Party (PNL) is an implicit acknowledgment of a failure.

He argues that Iohannis' resignation from the PNL leadership has to be analysed in the context of the PNL's electoral score in the May 25 European elections.
