Deputies from "Vazrazhdane", the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) and "There Is Such a People" (TISP) blocked the parliamentary rostrum and declared that they will not allow the parliament to work. The main argument of the left and "Vazrazhdane" is that the Constitutional majority of GERB-SDS, WCC-DB and DPS allowed lawlessness in the center of Sofia by removing the Monument to the Soviet Army.

A day before the local elections, a huge scandal broke out. It was created by "There Is Such a People" (TISP) with the cooperation of the State Agency for National Security (SANS), and this time instead of manipulation with paper ballots (like the infamous Kostinbrod Affair), it is claimed to be a manipulation of the machines.

President Rumen Radev continues the political consultations for forming a government with the parliamentary groups in the 49th National Assembly.

At 15.00 p.m. the meeting with the representatives of the party "There Is Such a People" (TISP) began.

Consultations with President Rumen Radev to form a new government within this parliament continue today. The first meeting is with representatives of "There Is Such a People".

The MP from "There Is Such a People" Iva Miteva insisted that early elections are not necessary, they are even dangerous at the moment.

Her comment comes a day after party leader Slavi Trifonov announced that TISP was leaving the coalition.

One way to deal with high inflation is to support production and introduce tax breaks. Reducing VAT on food will increase collection and brighten the industry. The introduction of a "Green Certificate" at around 20% vaccination is a mistake that can lead to a slowdown in economic development.

"Next week we are sitting in talks with Hristo Ivanov and Maya Manolova," he explained

The Bulgarian Socialist Party will delay the return of the mandate to form a government at least until September 10th. This became clear after a briefing by the Socialists on Sunday.

The left argues for the need to adopt a budget update, which requires a functioning parliament. However, it must be dissolved if the National Assembly fails to form a government on its third attempt.

The head of the parliament, Iva Miteva, who is an MP from "There Is Such a People", spoke out against political populism.

She appealed to the parliament, the president and the Council of Ministers to stop populism and start talking about real action.
