Following today's vote for the Speaker of the National Assembly, "We Continue the Change" (WCC) demanded the resignations of Daniel Lorer and Yavor Bozhankov. By decision of the party's Executive Council, Daniel Lorer was expelled from the party and all its bodies.

The Bulgarian parliament has entered its 18th day without electing a speaker, marking a historic impasse in the 51st National Assembly. On the seventh attempt to resolve the deadlock, lawmakers failed to reach a consensus, despite multiple rounds of voting and various consultations among political factions.

The Bulgarian National Assembly has once again failed to elect a Speaker, marking the sixth unsuccessful attempt in its ongoing impasse. The two candidates in the runoff vote, Raya Nazaryan from GERB and Silvi Kirilov of "There is Such a People" (TISP), fell short of the required majority. Nazaryan garnered 69 votes in favor, with 147 against and four abstentions.

The Bulgarian National Assembly continued its efforts to elect a Speaker, but for the fourth consecutive time, no candidate managed to secure the necessary support. In today's first voting session, the stalemate persisted.

"We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria" (WCC-DB) announced their decision to support "There Is Such a People" (TISP)'s proposal to temporarily appoint the oldest member of parliament, Silvi Kirilov, as Speaker of the Bulgarian Parliament. The coalition leaders stated they would withdraw their candidate, Andrey Tsekov, and called on other political formations to do the same.

North Macedonia's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, Aleksandar Nikoloski, defended his recent remarks about Bulgaria, accusing "corrupt politicians" in Bulgaria of demanding his resignation.

The Bulgarian parliament has rejected a proposal to ease the conditions for holding referendums. Bulgarian right-wing party "Revival" (Vazrazhdane) has declared it will not support a government backed by the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS), regardless of Peevski's involvement. Kostadin Kostadinov, the party chairman, emphasized this stance during a meeting with "There Is Such a People" (TISP) for potential support on the third mandate.
