Serbia has to preserve its heritage

BELGRADE - The National Library of Serbia has celebrated its 182nd anniversary on Friday, which also marks the National Book Day.

The ceremony was attended by Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic, who pointed to the institution's fundamental role in the preservation of the national identity, language and culture.

Ambassador Pribicevic presents credentials to Queen Elizabet

LONDON - The newly-appointed Ambassador of Serbia to Great Britain Ognjen Pribicevic presented his credentials to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at the Buckingham Palace on Tuesday, by which his term in office has officially begun.

Pribicevic was appointed as Ambassador of Serbia to Great Britain in August 2013 by a decree of Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic.

Kurz in Belgrade with message of encouragement to reforms

VIENNA - Austrian Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz will visit Belgrade on Wednesday with, as announced, a message of encouragement for the continuation of the reform process.

Kurz will have separate meetings with Serbia's President Tomislav Nikolic, First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, and Foreign Minister Ivan Mrkic.

Nikolic, Kasoulides: Unbreakable Serbian-Cypriot ties

BELGRADE - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic conferred on Monday with Foreign Minister of the Republic of Cyprus Ioannis Kasoulides, who expressed his support to Serbia's EU integration and pointed that any additional conditions placed before Serbia would aggravate the situation and jeopardize stability in the Balkans.
