Nikolic receives Mexican ambassador for farewell visit

BELGRADE - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic received Mexican Ambassador Mercedes Ruiz Zapata for a farewell visit on Wednesday.

Nikolic thanked the ambassdaor for helping develop the cooperation between two countries, adding that Serbia and Mexico had kept their relations friendly through all their difficulties.

BELGRADE -- German Ambassador Heinz Wilhelm says a possible change of the Serbian Constitution and adoption of a new Kosovo resolution was "an internal affair of Serbia."

He pointed out that his country was interested primarily in the implementation of the Brussels agreement.

Zeman visits tire factory in Ruma

RUMA - President of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman, accompanied by president of the Vojvodina government Bojan Pajtic, visited on Wednesday the Ruma-based agricultural and industrial tire factory, one of the key production facilities of the Czech Mitas company, which manufactures over 16,200 tons of tires annually and employs around 550 people.

Nikolic meets UralVagonZavod delegation on Wednesday

BELGRADE- Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic will meet on Wednesday with OAO NPK UralVagonZavod CEO Sienko Oleg Viktorovich, company director Lizin Yuri Igorevich and director of UVZ International SARL Demin Constantin Yorlevich.

The president's office for media relations said the meeting would be held at the president's general secretariat and would be followed by a statement.

BELGRADE - The presidents of Serbia and the Czech Republic, Tomislav Nikolic and Milos Zeman respectively, agreed on Tuesday that relations between the two countries are marked by a long-standing friendship, and Nikolic noted that it is particularly important to Serbia that Prague supports the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue and opposes further conditioning of Serbia along the EU path.

Czech President Milos Zeman arrives in Belgrade

BELGRADE - President of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman arrived on an two-day official visit to Serbia and immediately met with President Tomislav Nikolic on Tuesday.

Nikolic greeted Zeman and the Czech delegation he leads in front of the Palace of Serbia with full state honors, after which the two presidents started a tete-a-tete meeting.
