MELBOURNE - World number one Novak Djokovic is in the final of the Australian Open after overcoming the defending champion, Stanislas Wawrinka from switzerland, 7-6(1) 3-6 6-4 4-6 6-0 on Friday.

Djokovic ousts Raonic, to play against Wawrinka
MELBOURNE - World's best tennis player Novak Djokovic qualified for the Australian Open semifinal as he defeated Canada's Milos Raonic in the Wednesday match, 7-6 (7-5), 6-4, 6-2.
Djokovic managed to preserve the maximum advantage over Raonic and achieved the fifth triumph in their duels so far after two hours into the match.

Djokovic breezes into Australian Open 3rd round
MELBOURNE - Serbia's Novak Djokovic, currently the world number one in men's tennis, beat Russia's Andrey Kuznetsov 6-0, 6-1, 6-4 early Thursday in just 84 minutes to reach the third round of the Australian Open in Melbourne.

Jelena Jankovic out of Australian Open as well
MELBOURNE - After Ana Ivanovic and Bojana Jovanovski, Jelena Jankovic is the latest Serbian player to be ousted from the Australian Open, as she lost to Switzerland's Timea Bacsinszky 6-1 6-4 on Tuesday.
Aleksandra Krunic is the only remaining Serbian player in the women's draw. She is scheduled to face Lauren Davis of the US in her first match at the tournament on Tuesday.

Djokovic beaten by Federer in Shanghai ATP semifinal
SHANGHAI - World's best tennis player Novak Djokovic failed to qualify for the Shanghai ATP Masters final as he was beaten in the second semifinal match on Saturday by Switzerland's Roger Federer, 6-4, 6-4.
The Swiss player stopped Djokovic's great game series of 28 victories on the Chinese tour and scored the 19th triumph in mutual matches so far.

SHANGHAI - The world's top tennis player Novak Djokovic reached semifinals at the Shanghai Masters on Friday, after defeating David Ferrer of Spain 6-4, 6-2.
Serbia's best tennis player did not deliver an impressive game as in the last week's Beijing final when he outplayed Tomas Berdych 6-0, 6-2, but he managed to find a way to beat Ferrer.

Djokovic through to quarterfinals of Shanghai Masters
SHANGHAI - World number one Novak Djokovic is in the quarterfinals of the ATP Masters tournament in Shanghai, where he is the defending champion, after beating Kazakh Mikhail Kukushkin 6-3 4-6 6-4 on Thursday.
Djokovic will now face Spain's David Ferrer, who defeated British player Andy Murray 2-6 6-1 6-2.
Tennis-Djokovic through to top 16 stage in Shangai
SHANGAI - World number one Novak Djokovic advanced to the third round of the Shangai Masters, after beating Austria's Dominic Thiem 6-3, 6-4 on Wednesday.
Defending champion Djokovic broke Thiem's serve early in both sets and brought his first ever meeting with Austria's new tennis hope to a successful close without much effort.
