President Klaus Iohannis stated on Thursday that he is concerned with "the secrecy" of the Prime Minister Viorica Dancila's visit to Israel and underscored that the PM doesn't speak for Romania.

A Romanian delegation including the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies Liviu Dragnea, Prime Minister Viorica Dancila and Foreign Minister Teodor Melescanu, on an official visit to Israel on Thursday was welcomed by Israel's President Reuven Rivlin.

The Israeli Ambassador in Bucharest, Tamar Samash, stated in an interview granted to AGERPRES that her country regrets the rift between the President and Government happened regarding the moving of the Romanian Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, but hopes the situation will settle down.

"We want even stronger support from Bucharest, Athens and Sofia on the road to Europe. We would like to become the next country to join the EU, without your support we cannot do that," Vucic said at a news conference after meeting with the prime ministers of Greece, Bulgaria and Romania, Alexis Tsipras, Boyko Borisov and Viorica Dancila.

Labour Minister Lia Olguta Vasilescu suggests President Klaus Iohannis to release the transcripts of the talks at the Cotroceni Presidential Palace on the public pay law at a meeting also attended by Prime Minister Viorica Dancila.
