New York's Metropolitan Museum has pulled the curtain back on its latest blockbuster exhibit, showcasing women couturiers many of whom have been kept in the shadows of obscurity until now.

As weary fashionistas made it to the final sprint of Paris Fashion Week's 96 physical and digital spring-summer shows, Oct. 2's runways provided the spark to keep energy going, despite rain and gray skies.

Some of the world's top designers channeled humor, bright colors, innovative design techniques and even animated films for ever-imaginative displays.

The Fall 2019 season started off the season with a weekend-long event. Catwalk shows, designer shopping and talks from the experts in the fashion industry. This season was stylish yet modern and wasn't short of heart stopping moments. Vivienne Westwood used the catwalk to deliver a message about climate change. Molly Goddard's hot pink dress had everyone aflutter!

Elisabetta Canalis' enthusiastic dance at the Vienna Opera Ball ended in embarrassment for the Italian model, who famously dated George Clooney for two years before their breakup in 2011.
