'I Love Shoes' exhibition opens in Belgrade

BELGRADE - A unique exhibition of designer shoes by Manolo Blahnik, Christian Louboutin, Vivienne Westwood and Jimmy Choo opened at the shopping mall Stadion in Belgrade.

The exhibition opened on Monday evening with the sounds of string music and designer Igor Todorovic's fashion show, bringing together a large number of fashion buffs who came to see some of the most expensive shoes in the world, some of which cost as "a small car".

Some of the most prestigious vintage models are among the exhibited 50 pairs of shoes - "Rocking Horse by Vivienne Westwood", the silver snake skin shoes which Manolo Blahnik created exclusively for the movie "Sex and the City", as well as the shoes for the "Be Rich" collection by Christian Louboutin and the Swarowski crystal shoes by Jimmy Choo.

As the manager of the Stadion shopping mall underscored, Goran Jovanovic, underlined, this is the first show of this kind in Serbia.

The exhibition "I Love Shoes" will run through November 29, and then moves to the shopping mall BIG in Novi Sad, after which the shoes of the world-famous designers will go to Bulgaria.
