'I'm tired': Head of overcrowded migrant camp in Lesvos resigns
The governor of the overcrowded reception and identification center in Moria, Lesvos, resigned on Wednesday saying he is "tired," state-run news agency ANA-MPA reported.
Yiannis Balbakakis, who run the overcrowded camp for about three years, is credited with creating "safe zones" to protect unaccompanied underage refugees, women and single-parent families.
Chrysochoidis inspects Lesvos migrant camps
Citizens' Protection Minister Michalis Chrysochoidis on Saturday inspected the Moria reception and identification center (RIC) on the island of Lesvos in the eastern Aegean. He was briefed by director Yiannis Balbakakis about conditions at the hotspot, which currently hosts more than 6,000 asylum-seekers. About 40, mostly Afghans, were screened during his visit.

After Moria clashes, hot spot director speaks of difficulties
