Germany plans to build fixed location in Turkish air base for 65 mln euros
Germany is planning on building a fixed location inside Turkey's ?ncirlik Airbase, where it is already deploying Tornado jets and an aerial refueling jet along with hundreds of soldiers, for around 65 million euros, Germany's Der Spiegel reported on April 25.
US-led coalition hits ISIL in Syria after deadly cross-border shelling on Turkey's Kilis
The U.S.-led coalition hit Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) targets in northern Syria, located directly across Turkey's Syrian border from the southeastern province of Kilis, after receiving coordinates from Turkey on April 25. Number of tanks increased across Syrian border against ISIL
The number of the tanks deployed along the Turkish-Syrian border has been increased as a precaution against recent Katyusha rockets fired by militants of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
With the new tanks, sent from Gaziantep Fifth Armored Brigade, tanks are now situated more closely together along the border.

US soldier mobbed by Turkish nationalist youth group, two detained
Two members of the nationalist Turkish Youth Union (TGB) were detained after trying to put a sack over a U.S. soldier's head at the ?ncirlik Air Base in the southern province of Adana on April 16.
Footage of the incident shows TGB Adana Provincial Head Yalç?n Semir Akarsu chasing the U.S. soldier and attempting to put a sack over his head.

A man convicted of murdering of 20-year-old college girl Özgecan Aslan was killed in a gun attack in a prison in the southern province of Adana on April 11.
Ahmet Suphi Alt?ndöken and his father, Necmettin Alt?ndöken, were badly wounded in the attack at the Adana E-type closed prison.
