Impressive findings have been unearthed in archaeological excavations in the mountainous part of Corinth prefecture, in the Peloponnese (southern Greece), over the recent period.

A second shocking instance of dead horses surfaced on Friday when residents in the mountainous Papigo region of Ioannina prefecture, NW Greece, reported the discovery of two carcasses of wild horses.

Some speak of a miracle and others can’t wait to get there and see the icon up close.
Large fire breaks out near Corinth
Firefighters on Friday were trying to bring under control a large blaze that broke out shortly after noon in the Prefecture of Corinth in the northern Peloponnese.
Five water-dumping craft and 21 firetrucks were dispatched to quell the blaze, which broke out at 12.30 p.m. in a wooded area between the villages of Stefani and Klenias.
