HDP co-heads make assets public

The co-chairs of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), Selahattin Demirta? and Figen Yüksekda?, have filed declarations of their property to the Turkish parliament.

The move came a day after Republican People's Party (CHP) head Kemal K?l?çdaro?lu made the same move, while also declaring the properties of his spouse and his son.

Six children die in fire in Turkey's southeast

A fire at a private religious school building in the southeastern province of Diyarbak?r early on Dec. 1 left six children dead and three wounded.           

The blaze at the boarding shcool in the Karaa?aç village is thought to have broken out after an electrical malfunction. 

An investigation has been opened into the incident.
