Gun found by Elçi used in attack on policemen: Turkish PM
Turkey's prime minister has said the pistol found next to the dead body of Tahir Elçi, a prominent lawyer who was killed during clashes after the killing of two police officers in the southeastern province of Diyarbak?r, was the same weapon used in the first incident.

Diyarbak?r Bar Association head Tahir Elçi was killed on Nov. 28 in the crossfire during an armed clash following a press conference in the Sur district of Diyarbak?r with a group of lawyers.

Curfew ends in Yüksekova, enters 11th day in Nusaybin
A curfew ended in Yüksekova in the southeastern province of Hakkari at 6 a.m. on Nov. 23, according to the Hakkari Governor's Office.
A curfew was declared on Nov. 20 from 8 p.m. in the region, "due to escalating terror events, in order to reassure peace and security."
Turkish police say no attack on HDP co-chair's car
Turkish police said on Nov. 23 that damage to the car of Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) co-chair Selahattin Demirta? was not caused by gunfire, after a party spokesman said it had been hit by a bullet in an apparent assassination attempt.
A spokesperson for the HDP had said the car's rear window was hit on Nov. 22 as he drove in the southeastern province of Diyarbak?r.

HDP says co-chair Demirta? escapes assassination attempt
Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) co-chair Selahattin Demirta? was targeted by an assassination attempt while travelling in his official vehicle but escaped unharmed, the HDP said Nov. 23.
Demirta? was in an armored vehicle in the southeastern province of Diyarbak?r late on Nov. 22 when it was hit by a single bullet at head height, the party said in a statement.
