One killed after rockets from Syria hit Turkey's Kilis

One person was killed and seven others were wounded after four rockets fired from Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL)-controlled territory hit the southeastern border province of Kilis early on May 5, for the second time in one day.

Four Katyusha rockets hit central Kilis at around 5:15 p.m. and injuries were reported.

Six ISIL militants killed after rocket projectiles hit Turkey's Kilis: Army

Six militants of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) were killed on May 3 after two rocket projectiles hit the border province of Kilis.
Turkish artillery units responded to the attack by shelling ISIL positions and firing multiple rocket launchers after unmanned aerial vehicles spotted that the rockets came from the Suran region of Syria. 

Heavy shelling on ISIL in Syria from Turkey

The U.S.-led coalition against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) continued to fire on ISIL targets in Syria's north on May 2 as Turkish artillery also hit jihadist targets.

Four MQ-1 drones took off from the ?ncirlik Air Base in the southern province of Adana, from where they flew to northern Syria to strike ISIL targets under the campaign of the anti-ISIL coalition.
