The Arab coalition battling Iran-backed rebels in Yemen has provided pro-government forces in the besieged city of Taez with dozens of armoured vehicles, military sources and Emirati media reported on Nov. 2.

Air strikes by a Saudi-led Arab alliance shook Yemen's capital Sanaa on June 3, mainly targeting military bases aligned with the dominant Houthi group, residents said.

An air raid on the presidential palace in Yemen's southern city of Aden and intense fighting at the airport Thursday raised fears for President Abedrabbo Mansour Hadi, who fled his residence.
Hadi was forced to evacuate the palace in the country's major southern city, presidency sources said, after it was attacked by a fighter jet.
