Turkey detains 10 in ISIL raids
Turkish authorities have detained 10 suspects in raids in northwestern Turkey as part of a probe into potential Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) members, police have said.
The 10 suspects were taken into custody after Turkish police carried out parallel raids at multiple addresses in the northwestern province of Sakarya on the night of March 1.

Students injured in elevator accident at high school in western Turkey
Seven students were injured when an elevator at a high school building fell to the ground from the third floor due to an unknown technical failure in the western province of Sakarya on Nov. 18.
The accident happened at a newly-built building of a religious vocational high school in the Geyve district of Sakarya, which opened earlier this year.
High-speed train service canceled again after crane falls on railway
The high-speed railway (YHT) service between Kocaeli and Ankara was canceled after a crane and a container fell onto the railway line late Aug. 7.
Due to strong winds, a crane â approximately weighing 200 tons â fell onto the railway line used by the YHT service in the Körfez district of Kocaeli, resulting in the suspension of the YHT service at 5:00 p.m. on Aug. 7.

Turkish man kills fiancée after learning she was not a virgin

The murderer, identified only as K.A., went to the district Police Department in Istanbulâs Beylikdüzü district on July 8 to confess that he had murdered his fiancée, N.T., and buried her in a Sakarya forest on July 6.
VIDEO: High-speed train station building collapses, six injured
A train station built as part of the construction works for the high-speed railway partially collapsed near Arifiye in the western province of Sakarya on May 29.
Six workers were injured, including three in a serious condition, state-run Anadolu Agency reported. The initial reports claiming that some workers were trapped under the rubble were soon refuted.
