An Istanbul public prosecutor’s office has demanded permission from a district governor’s office for an investigation into officials from the Zeytinburnu Municipality, as a part of the legal process over three skyscrapers spoiling the city’s historic silhouette on the European side.

Turkey’s top administrative court has upheld a ruling imposing the destruction of a group of skyscrapers that ruined the iconic panorama of Istanbul’s historic center, when looked at from across the Bosphorus.
 

A rally area in Istanbul’s coastal province of Zeytinburnu will be opened to construction after a new rally area in Yenikapı is built, by filling the Marmara Sea with soil.

The Kazlıçeşme rally area, which covers 141,000 square meters, will be open to construction after the Istanbul greater Municipality approves the plans from the Zeytinburnu Municipality.
