Dragoljub Simonovic, the former president of the Belgrade municipality of Grocka and a member of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party, SNS, has been sentenced to five years in prison for inciting other persons to jeopardize the life of journalist Milan Jovanovic.

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Monday a future VGP industrial park in Dobanovci, suburban Belgrade, would boost Serbia's overall logistics and industrial capacities as well as its competitiveness in the region and help it attract more investors.

Vucic was speaking at a ceremony that marked the start of works to build the 1 million-plus sq m VGP Park Belgrade.
