Bulgaria Is Celebrating 141st Anniversary of the April Uprising
The celebrations of 141st anniversary of the April Uprising, which broke out on April 20 1876 in the Bulgarian city Koprivshtitsa, start today, announced BNT.
In different parts of the country are many pilgrimages and commemorative initiatives organized, that honour the heroism and the sacrifice of all people involved in the April Uprising.
'Vitinya' Tunnel To Be Closed Today
"Vitinya" Tunnel on "Hemus" Highway leading from Sofia to Varna will be closed today between 11:00 a.m. and 15:00 p.m., said the Road Infrastructure Agency, reported Dnevnik.
Meanwhile an official survey on the installation in the tunnel will be conducted, where cables and daub fell over a passing bus a couple of days ago. The traffic will be transferred to the following routes:

Bulgaria is to hold a day of national mourning on Monday for the victims of an explosion on a cargo train transporting liquified gas to Romania.
Five people were killed and ten are in a serious condition, three of them in a critical condition, the Bulgarian Health Minister Petar Moskov said on Saturday.

Four Die, Many Injured in Blast after Rail Accident in Bulgaria's Hitrino
At least four people have lost their lives as a train exploded after going off the tracks in northeastern Bulgaria, police say.
An unknown number of people have been injured.
Bulgaria's Yambol Braces for anti-Migrant Protest
A protest is due in the southern Bulgarian town of Yambol on Saturday over the accommodation of migrants in the area, public broadcaster BNR reports.
A torch-lit rally will be held over plans to set up a temporary center in the nearby village of Boyanovo between 18:00 and 21:00 local time (EET), the radio quotes Krasimira Koleva, one of the organizers, as saying.

Bulgaria-Romania Danube Bridge Closed
The Danube Bridge between Bulgaria and Romania has been closed for two hours.
The Bulgarian Specialised Prosecutor's Office and the Romanian Prosecutor's Office are carrying out an inspection, reported BGNES.
Border police are being checked for bribes on both the Bulgarian and the Romanian side.
The inspection is ongoing.

Three People Detained for People Trafficking in International Operation
Three people have been detained for traffic of people for the purpose of sexual exploitation during an international operation carried out in Holland and Bulgaria, reported the Interior Ministry.
The operation in Bulgaria took place in Yambol and Sliven. Two people were detained and the third one was arrested in Holland.
