Bulgarian Businessman Tsvetan Vasilev's Hotels Impounded by Authorities
The Bulgarian National Revenue Agency has impounded assets operated by firms connected to Tsvetan Vasilev, majority owner of collapsed Corporate Commercial Bank (Corpbank or KTB).
The shares of a company owning several hotels have been impounded, Pressa daily reported.
Asenovgrad- Smolyan Road Remains Blocked
The road between Asenovgrad and Smolyan still remains closed both ways due to the new landslide in the region. It is expected that the road will be unblocked by the end of the day.
In order for the rocks after the landslide can be cleared faster, excavators will be working on both sides of the road.

281 Illegal Migrants Detained at Border with Romania Since Start of 2015
Since the beginning of the new year, 281 migrants have been detained as they attempted to cross the Bulgaria-Romania border illegally.
This was announced by the department of the Border Police in the Bulgarian city of Ruse, private bTV station reports.

Bulgarian Police Cracks Down on Suspected Artefact Hunters
Police in Bulgaria's northeastern Shumen Region have arrested four people suspected of illicit possession of and trading in archaeological artefacts.

Bulgaria's Culture Ministry Inspects Collapse in Thracian Tomb
Bulgaria's Culture Minister Vezhdi Rashidov ordered an urgent inspection in the tomb of the Thracian King Seuthes III after a collapse had been reported by the municipality of Kazanlak.
According to local Press TV, the Golyamata Kosmatka Mound, which contains the tomb, collapsed with nearly a meter and 5 cubic metres of soil had been removed from its corridor.
