Ludogorets is the Champion for the Seventh Consecutive Year!

Ludogorets' team has become champion of Bulgaria for the seventh consecutive year! This happened after today's loss of CSKA Sofia with 1:2 from Botev (Plovdiv). Four rounds before the end of the season the Eagles lead 13 points in front of the Reds and are unreachable at the top of the standings.

The Bulgarian Football Union Postponed the Intermediate Round in First League

Due to the rough winter weather, difficult road conditions and expected low temperatures, the XXIII round of the First League was postponed by the Sports and Technical Commission to the Bulgarian Football Union. The seven matches had to take place between Tuesday and Thursday, including the derby "Botev" (Plovdiv) - "Lokomotiv" (Plovdiv), "Levski" - "Beroe" and "Dunav" - "CSKA Sofia".

Beroe and Litex were the two football teams representing Bulgaria in the first leg of the first qualifying round of Europa League, which took place on Thursday.

Both Bulgarian teams were visitors in the first leg, Beroe traveling to Lithuania, while Litex visited Latvia.
