Draw Confirms Exclusion of CSKA, Lokomotiv Sofia from Bulgaria's A Group

The draw for the next season in Bulgaria's top professional football division - the A Group confirmed the exclusion of CSKA and Lokomotiv Sofia due to the two clubs' revoked licences.

The licences of the two clubs were revoked due to the teams being unable to make repayment of their outstanding debts.

Bulgarian Football Union Upholds Revocation of Licenses of CSKA, Lokomotiv Sofia

The Appeal Committee to the Licensing Committee of the Bulgarian Football Union (BFS) upheld the revocation of the licences of CSKA Sofia, Lokomotiv Sofia and Marek.

The appeal tabled by the fourth club - Haskovo was not reviewed by the Appeal Committee as it was not submitted within the required deadline of one week, the press service of BFS informs.

The Bulgarian Football Union (BFS) reportedly revoked the licences of two clubs from the capital - CSKA and Lokomotiv Sofia.

According to 24 Chasa daily, the Licensing Committee of BFS revoked the licence of CSKA for both the domestic A Group and the European tournaments and the same decision was taken for Lokomotiv Sofia, gong.bg informs.

Bulgaria's Ludogorets Claims Fourth Successive Championship Title

Football club Ludogorets Razgrad claimed on Friday its fourth successive championship title, becoming the second Bulgarian team to do so after CSKA Sofia.

The team from Razgrad defended its title after defeating Lokomotiv Sofia 4-1 at Ludogorets Arena and establishing 10-point lead three rounds before the end of the season.

BBC: Only Qualified Musicians Allowed to Plovdiv's Main Street

The recent decision of authorities in Bulgaria's second largest city Plovdiv to allow only qualified musicians to play on its main street, appeared in an article of the BBC on Thursday.

According to the provision, musicians will need to be in a possession of a music education diploma in order to be allowed to play there.
