Parliament rejects national TV broadcaster's 2017, 2018 and 2019 activity reports, Board automatically dismissed
The Parliament plenum rejected on Tuesday the Romanian Television Broadcasting Corporation's activity reports for 2017, 2018 and 2019. The 2019 activity report fell by a vote of 239 to 142, the 2018 report had 144 votes in favor, 242 against and one abstention, and the 2017 report 141 votes in favor, 247 against and two abstentions.
BNR with a New Director General
Bulgaria's Electronic Media Council has elected Andon Baltakov as the new director general of the Bulgarian National Radio in a voting held earlier today. He was appointed with 4 votes in favour and one abstention in the second voting of the media regulator, BNR said on its website.

Precinct where ballot box was stolen votes again; 92.9 pct abstain
The Greek national election was formally completed Sunday with a repeat vote at the central Athens precinct where four individuals stole the ballot box and burned it last Sunday.
With nothing at stake, there was a record 92.9% abstention; only 39 out of 545 registered voters showed up, 1 to cast a spoilt ballot.

The cutbacks imposed in 2015 after the Greek government's clash with the country's European creditors don't count anymore. The people believe that they paid, but kept their dignity, and that they may have lost, but at least they put up a fight.

Notaries open way for start of online foreclosures
The association of Athens and Piraeus notaries did not bow to pressure from protesters outside the offices where it convened on Monday and decided to suspend its abstention from foreclosures, thereby opening the way for the launch of the online auction process on Wednesday as planned.

City of Athens approves plan to construct crematorium in Elaionas
After a marathon session Thursday, the City of Athens council approved a plan for the construction of Greece's first ever crematorium on a plot of land (also known as bloc 17) belonging to the municipality in the western, post-industrial suburb of Elaionas.
Only Golden Dawn councilors voted against the decision, and there was one abstention.
ND faction wins university student elections
According to the tally count so far, DAP-ND, the youth party affiliated to major Greek opposition party New Democracy, prevailed in the university student elections across the country’s institutions winning 45.97% of the votes. PKS has won 16.94% of the votes, followed by EAAK with 16.14% and 11.62% by PAASP.

Spain ends 10-month political crisis
Spain ended 10 months of political gridlock on Oct. 29 when lawmakers agreed to grant conservative leader Mariano Rajoy a second term as prime minister.
Prime Minister Rajoy won a parliamentary confidence vote, pledging to plough on with his economic policies, despite the opposition blaming austerity in his first term for deepening inequalities.
