Spain "made it clear Kosovo has no EU perspective"
Beta agency is reporting this on Wednesday, citing Bender's interview for the European Western Balkans website.
"For Kosovo the formal accession process has hit a wall. Formally there is no way to move forward for Kosovo now," he said, adding: "With 5 EU member states not recognizing Kosovo, Kosovo has no enlargement perspective. Spain has made this very clear now."

Miscevic: By end-March we will be ready to open five chapters
BELGRADE - Serbia's chief EU negotiator Tanja Miscevic said on Tuesday Serbia would by the end of March be fully prepared to open five chapters in its EU accession talks.
Speaking at a conference on Chapter 30, she said Serbia would by the end of the month also "send" to Brussels the chapter concerning the economic and monetary union.
Juncker: We are not Forcing Serbia to Choose Between Russia and the EU
European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker said he does not force Serbia to make a choice between Russia and the European Union.
"I did not want the Serbs to make a choice because they have to have good relations with Russia and have such good relations with Europe as far as it is possible," said the European Commission chief in an interview with Euronews.
