Former minister's office targeted by arsonists
The office of former health minister Adonis Georgiadis was targeted by arsonists in the early hours of Thursday.
According to initial reports, unknown assailants used three cooking gas canisters to carry out the attack which caused some damage to the conservative politician's office entrance located on the fifth floor of a central Athens building.

Greek gov't calls on parties to condemn Maziotis threat
Government spokeswoman Sofia Voultepsi on Tuesday called on all parties to condemn Revolutionary Struggle leader Nikos Maziotis for his attempt to terrorize New Democracy MP Adonis Georgiadis.

ND minister denies contacts with GD's no.2
Conservative Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis on Thursday denied any contacts with Golden Dawn lawmaker Christos Pappas.
I have certainly never spoken to him. What Golden Dawn tried to do yesterday was to sling mud on everyone, [and it did so] for obvious political reasons, Georgiadis said of Pappas who is currently in the capital's high-security Korydallos Prison pending trial.
