WWII bomb found in border city
A 250-kilogram aerial bomb from the Second World War has been discovered in Nova Gorica, a city on the border with Italy. Slovenian technicians are expected to attempt to defuse it on Sunday but since nearby residents will have to be evacuated on both sides of the border they are coordinating their plans with Italy.

Montenegro: One ton WW2 leftover bomb found in river
A WW2 leftover aerial bomb weighing 1,000 kilograms has been found in the riverbed of the Tara, the Montenegrin Interior Ministry has announced.
The bomb was found by experts from the Emergency Situations Directorate near Matesevo, close to a highway's route, state broadcaster RTCG is reporting on Monday.

BELGRADE - A Serbian sapper unit conducted a controlled detonation of a World War II-era aerial bomb in Belgrade on Sunday, the Serbian Interior Ministry said.
"The aerial bomb was successfully defused," the ministry said in a statement.

Dangerous WWII Bomb Found at Bulgaria's Black Sea Coast
A bomb disposal unit in Bulgaria's Black Sea city of Bourgas has destroyed a dangerous WWII aerial bomb which was found by accident at the beach.
A diver has discovered the ammunition in the sea, at a depth of 2 meters, about 4 meters away from the rocks in Kraymorie district, Darik news reports.
