Blast Hits Bank in Kabul Close to U.S. Embassy
n explosion hit a bank in an area of the Afghan capital Kabul on Tuesday close to the heavily protected U.S. embassy compound, officials said, quoted by Reuters.
Interior Ministry spokesman Najib Danish said the blast occurred at the entrance to a Kabul Bank branch, not far from the embassy. There was no immediate word on casualties.

Explosion Damages Bulgarian Embassy in Afghanistan
A powerful explosion burst in Kabul's diplomatic area near the Bulgarian embassy around 8.30 am local time, reported BNR.
No personal of the embassy have been injured but the building and the ones around suffered damages, the foreign ministry reports.
Local authorities have secured the area, while an investigation is going on.

No Bulgarian military personnel have been injured in a suicide car bomb blast in Afghanistan's capital Kabul, the Defence Ministry in Sofia said on Tuesday.
The suicide attack, which took place on Tuesday morning near the Afghan Defence Ministry and presidential palace, has killed at least 28 people and injured 329, according to the BBC.
