Pedestrian hit by bus in Thessaloniki
A pedestrian was hit by a city bus on Vasilissis Olgas Street in eastern Thessaloniki on Wednesday morning.
The bus driver, attempting to avoid the pedestrian who was crossing the road, braked abruptly, which also resulted in injuries to several passengers on the bus.

Boat explodes off Rhodes, five injured
An explosion occurred Sunday afternoon on a motorboat carrying six Italian nationals near Psaltos, Rhodes, injuring five of them.
The Coast Guard and private boats responded to the scene.
The injured passengers were evacuated to Agios Pavlos Bay and taken to a clinic, while the uninjured sixth passenger disembarked at Lindos Bay.

Elafonisi in Greece is among the 14 best beaches in the world and the second best in Europe for 2016, according to the leading travel platform TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards.
Moreover, another five Greek beaches are among the best 15 in Europe: Limnionas Zakynthos, Balos, Agios Pavlos Lindos, Sarakiniko Milos and Egremni Lefkada.
