"Germany wants to get directly involved in solving Kosovo issue"
According to Milivojevic, Merkel showed this by inviting Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic to Berlin, but also by inviting Kosovo's newly elected Prime Minister, Albin Kurti.

The request for the abolition of the 100% tariffs on Serbian goods was very clear, as well as a warning that, until they did, relations with the Kosovo authorities would not be restored, and the possibility of reconsidering other, not only security, co-operation with Pristina was mentioned.
Vucic: I do not believe they will offer anything good to the Serbs
Vucic stressed that the talks will not be about a plan to resolve the Kosovo issue, as speculated in the media.
"I don't think any new plan will be discussed. No one can come up with a plan and say 'take it or leave it,'" he said.
Grenell's message to Pristina: Revoke tariffs immediately
"We expect the fees to be abolished immediately," Grenell said in a statement passed to the AP.
Grenell, who is also the US ambassador to Germany, said the US "made clear to party leaders in Kosovo that the abolition of tariffs was in the best interests of Kosovo and its economy, as well as its desire to attract new job opportunities".
Kosovo Parliament Backs New Govt Under Kurti
The new government will have 15 ministries, instead of the 12 planned so far, with the Prime Minister, Kurti, coming from Vetevendosje, and the speaker from the LDK. The President of Kosovo's post - another thorny issue - is off the table for the moment.

Deadline Looms for Kurti to Form Kosovo Government
Albin Kurti, Kosovo's candidate for Prime Minister, has only until next Tuesday to form a new government - while the two main parties, his own Vetevendosje Movement and the Democratic League of Kosovo, LDK, have not yet reached a coalition agreement.
