A session of parliament in Kosovo had to close after opposition MPs hotly opposed to Kosovo's EU-brokered deals with Serbia, threw tear gas canisters in the chamber, causing at least one MP to pass out.

Former Self-Determination leader announces protests
Self-Determination Movement founder Albin Kurti says opponents of the future Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO) want a referendum called on this issue.
The former leader of the party told a panel held in Tirana, Albania that they had gathered 100,000 signatures in support of the initiative.
Kosovo Court of Appeals president arrested
The Kosovo police have arrested the president of the Court of Appeals, Sali Mekaj, the media in Pristina reported on Tuesday.
The media said that Mekaj was "caught red handed" in the town of Pec as he was negotiating the release of a person arrested for drug possession.

PRISTINA -- Protesters in Pristina have demanded the removal of Aleksandar Jablanovic from the Kosovo government, and a law that would turn Trepca into a public enterprise.
The rally was organized by opposition parties and civic organizations and held on Saturday.

PRIŠTINA -- According to media reports, the new prime minister of Kosovo will be Ramush Haradinaj, leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo.
This came after opposition parties managed to reach an agreement in the wake of Sunday's early elections for the assembly in Priština.
