PAOK fans celebrate Greek league title
Supporters of soccer club PAOK Salonica celebrate in central Thessaloniki on Sunday night after winning the league title for the first time in 34 years. PAOK, owned by Greek-Russian oligarch Ivan Savvidis, were crowned champions after beating already relegated Levadiakos 5-0 in the penultimate round of the Super League.

The Super League resumed after three weeks of forced recess due to the referee strike, with PAOK and Olympiakos scoring away wins, while Atromitos and Panathinaikos conceded draws at home.
Prijovic in Jeddah to pass medical at Al-Ittihad
Aleksandar Prijovic, last season's top scorer in the Super League, is about to swap PAOK for Saudi club Al-Ittihad, as reports said on Sunday he has already flown to Saudi Arabia to pass a medical.

Olympiakos lands Dynamo Kiev in Europa League's last 32
Olympiakos has drawn Ukrainian powerhouse Dynamo Kiev in the Europa League Round 32, according to the draw UEFA held on Monday.
The Piraeus team, that finished second in its Europa League group, will host Dynamo on February 14, while the return leg is scheduled a week later in Ukraine, i.e. on February 21.
PAOK is winter champion as Reds draw at Xanthi
PAOK came from behind to beat Larissa and extend its lead at the top of the Super League to seven points on Sunday, thanks to the draw Olympiakos conceded at Xanthi that has seen Atromitos leapfrog the Reds into second.
The results mean PAOK is the winter champion, two rounds of games before the halfway point of the league.

PAOK miss out on Champions League group stage
PAOK Thessaloniki failed to reach the UEFA Champions League group stage after suffering a 4-1 defeat at their home ground against Portugal's Benfica on Wednesday night.
The teams were tied 1-1 after the first leg in Lisbon and Serbian striker Aleksandar Prijovic put the Greek cup winners ahead on the night.

Serbia coach unveils candidates for World Cup team
23 players will make it to the team that will travel to Russia on June 11, and this final list will be known on June 4.
Serbia will on that day play the first of the two friendly matches as part of the team's preparations for the tournament in Russia.
The friendlies against Chile (June 4) and Bolivia (June 9) will both be played in Graz, Austria.

PAOK outplays AEK to lift the Greek Cup in Athens
PAOK beat AEK 2-0 in an eventful Greek Cup final that had two goals, one missed penalty, three red cards, plenty of passion and, thankfully no major problems on the pitch. The final was, however, overshadowed by violence outside the Olympic Stadium of Athens.

PAOK beats PAO to clinch second Champions League place
PAOK defeated Panathinaikos in Athens on Sunday to mathematically clinch the second spot in the Super League, that leads to the Champions League qualifiers, while Kerkyra has become the second team to go down.
With one game left to play, the only pending issue is the last team to make the Europa League qualifiers for next season, with Asteras Tripolis and Xanthi vying for it.
