HDP co-chair says politics needs to 'assume risks' to improve workers' life standards

Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) co-chair Selahattin Demirta? has said the current situation for Turkish workers was a bad one, adding politics needed to assume risks and parliament needed to take a radical decision to reverse their situation, which would begin with the forging of a new constitution. 

Turkey's prime minister appoints two new ministers after resignations

Prime Minister Ahmet Davuto?lu appointed two new members of the interim government on Sept. 22, following the resignations of Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) ministers Müslüm Do?an and Ali Haydar Konca earlier that day.

Beril Dedeo?lu was appointed EU minister while Mustafa Cüneyd Düzyol was named as minister of development, a written statement from the prime minister's office said.

According to Turkish European Union Minister Ali Haydar Konca, during the week-long curfew in southeastern Cizre at least 20 people lost their lives, though the prime minister of the country apparently wanted to believe no one was hurt. The premier, fighting for his own political survival, was obviously uninformed of the saga of little Cemile.

HDP delegation seeks entry to southeastern district under curfew

A delegation headed by the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) co-chair Selahattin Demirta? sought to enter the Cizre district of the southeastern ??rnak province on Sept. 9, on the sixth day of the curfew in the area. 

The delegation was stopped on their way to Cizre as soon as they left the Midyat district of southeastern province of Mardin.
