Receivers Make Public AlixPartners' Final Report on Bulgaria's Insolvent KTB  

The receivers of insolvent Corporate Commercial Bank (Corpbank or KTB) have made public a report tracking the assets of Bulgaria's fourth-largest lender.

An English-language version of the final report, prepared by UK-based consultancy AlixPartners in September 2015, had been initially submitted to Parliament's Secret Registry to be read by lawmakers only.

Bulgaria MPs Approve Making Report on Insolvent KTB Public

Lawmakers in Bulgaria have voted to approve on second reading changes to the Bank Insolvency Act paving the way for the publication of a report tracking the assets of insolvent Corporate Commercial Bank (Corpbank or KTB).

Until now the text was only available in Parliament's secret registry, which was not accessible to the general public but only to lawmakers.

Report on Bulgaria's Collapsed CorpBank to Be Unveiled Next Week

Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov has asserted that the report prepared by an international consultancy that is tracing unlawfully used assets of Corporate Commercial Bank (Corpbank or KTB) will be made public on Monday.

Borisov has told the Bulgarian National Television that the global consulting firm AlixPartners granted its consent in a telephone conversation.

Bulgarian FinMin Calls for Making Public Report on Insolvent KTB

Bulgarian Finance Minister Vladislav Goranov called on making the report on the assets of the insolvent Corporate Commercial Bank (KTB) public.

Goranov has asked the consulting firm Alixpartners Services UK LLP for its consent on disclosing the report which had been conducted by the company.
