The UK alternative rock band Tindersticks returns to Greece to perform at the Christmas Theater (137 Veikou) on November 2. After a very successful show at the Athens Concert Hall in 2022, they are coming back armed with new material set to be released in a new album, "Soft Tissue," on September 13. Indie Playground | Athens | June 1-2

The Indie Playground Festival, part of the Athens Epidaurus Festival, returns for a second year to Playground 260 (260 Pireos) on June 1-2. The event features performances by renowned and emerging Greek indie, alternative rock, pop and electronica artists, including Larry Gus, Deaf Radio, AMKA, Whereswilder, Prompt, Kooba Tercu, Metaman and Vassilina. Admission is free.

Zorlu to host world famous names in new season

Istanbul's Zorlu Performance Arts Center (PSM) will host various Turkish and international artists in the new season starting from Sept. 1.

During a press conference held on Aug. 21 to launch the new season's program, Zorlu PSM Director Murat Abbas said the new season will be full of activities through Aug. 31, 2018.

Kurt Cobain's 'solo album' to come out soon

An album of unreleased music by grunge icon Kurt Cobain will come out in November to accompany a documentary on the late Nirvana frontman, the director has said.

In researching ?Montage of Heck,? filmmaker Brett Morgen discovered more than 100 early cassettes recorded by Cobain, who grew up in the lumber town of Aberdeen, Washington.
