Secrets of Great Pyramid uncovered
The secrets behind the construction of the oldest and only survivor of the Seven Wonders of the World have been locked within its limestone and granite walls for centuries. But now archaeologists believe they have finally uncovered how Egyptians were able to lug millions of 2.5 ton blocks 500 miles to create the Great Pyramid of Giza, reported Mirror Online on Sept. 24.

Mystic Egyptian seal found in Muğla
Excavations in the ancient city of Letoon in the western province of Muğla's Seydikemer district have unearthed a nearly 2,600 year-old Egyptian seal used in the ancient Egyptian dynasty. Archaeologists from Egypt and Germany have found a massive eight-meter statue submerged in ground water in a Cairo slum that they say probably depicts revered Pharaoh Ramses II, who ruled Egypt more than 3,000 years ago.

The Antiquities Ministry announced on Thursday the discovery of parts from two statues of two kings belonging to the 19th Dynasty.
The discovery was made by a joint German-Egyptian archaeological mission operating in Matareya area at the site of King Ramses II Temple which he built at in Oan City in Ancient Egypt.
