Syrian car hits family in Gaziantep, raising racial tensions
Tension between locals and Syrians escalated in the southeastern province of Gaziantep when a car with a Syrian plate hit a family on July 15, injuring a mother and a daughter.
Turkey urges UN Security council to allow humanitarian access through border crossings under FSA control
The U.N. Security Council authorized on July 14 humanitarian convoys to enter through four border crossings, across Turkey, Iraq and Jordan, without the approval of the government in Damascus. The resolution will allow aid deliveries to take place at Turkeyâs Cilvegözü (Bab al-Hawa) and Ãncüpınar (Bab al-Salam) border gates into areas held by Syrian rebels.

Syrian refugees forcedly evicted after being attacked by locals
A group of 25 Syrian refugees were forcedly evicted from homes where they were sheltering in the southeastern province of Gaziantep on July 1. The refugees were attacked by a crowd of locals after rumors spread that children in the area who were playing on the streets had been threatened by knife-wielding Syrians.
Bulgaria's Rozovo Inhabitants 'Discriminate' Refugees - Ombudsman
Syrian refugees have been facing discrimination from the inhabitants of Rozovo, a Bulgarian village, according to the National Ombudsman.
Penchev's comments came after three Syrian families were forced to leave Rozovo, a village in Central Bulgaria, following calls by locals that they go away until Monday.
Austria to Receive 1000 Extra Refugees
Austria will receive an extra 1000 Syrian refugees in addition to the quota of 500 announced in August 2013, according to Interior Minister Johanna Mikl-Leitner.
