Turkey ratifies agreements with 9 countries
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has ratified 12 laws on international agreements with nine countries, according to Feb. 20's Official Gazette.
An agreement on cooperation with Azerbaijan in energy and mining, signed on Feb. 25 last year, was among the approved agreements.

Athens has accused Ankara of trying to "fabricate history" after the Turkish Foreign Ministry issued a statement denouncing comments by the Greek political class on the anniversary of the Pontic Genocide, the massacre of ethnic Greeks by the Turks during World War I and the subsequent Greek-Turkish war.
Turkey's US envoy slams Trump on 1915 events statement
U.S. President Donald Trump's statement on the 1915 events is "void of objectivity," Turkey's ambassador to Washington said on April 24.
Serdar Kılıç said the U.S. president's statement is "based on a subjective narrative which Armenians try to turn into a dogma."

Greece's Alternate Forein Minister Miltiadis Varvitsiotis has shared tribute to the victims of the Armenian genocide over a century ago.
"Today we commemorate the 105th anniversary of the Armenian genocide, the human and historic tragedy that we must never forget," Varvitsiotis tweeted.
