France approves returning 15 artworks stolen from Jews
The French senate on Feb. 15 approved the return of 15 artworks looted from Jews during World War II, as part of efforts by the government to accelerate restitutions.
The vote authorizes public museums holding the works, including the world-famous Musee d'Orsay in Paris, to hand over the property to the heirs of the original owners.
France to return Nazi-looted Klimt to rightful Jewish heirs
The French government has announced that it will return a Nazi-looted Gustav Klimt landscape painting to its rightful owners more than 80 years after it was stolen from a Jewish family in Austria in 1938.
The colorful 1905 oil work by the Austrian symbolist painter titled "Rosebushes under the Trees" has been hanging in Paris' Musee d'Orsay museum for decades.
Renovation of landmark Acropole Palace under way
The interior of the Acropole Palace, a former hotel and now the property of the Culture Ministry, is seen Tuesday as renovation work on the building got under way. Works on the building, which is situated at the junction of Patission and Averoff streets near central Athens, are expected to finish in two months' time.

SUBOTICA - Subotica will host the General Assembly of the Reseau Art Nouveau Network, which includes around 20 cities of Europe whose architecture is characterised by this style, from September 10 to 13.
Bucharest Premieres Public Art Pavilion
Designed to feature a wide range of art from heritage art to contemporary art, the public art pavilion will display the artworks of several Romanian and foreign artists including Brancusi, Klimt, Rembrandt, Picasso and Chagall.
In the galleries area, Romanian art valued at almost 1.5 million euro will be on display.
