Turkish Airlines may delay delivery of Airbus, Boeing planes
Turkish Airlines, which halted its passenger flights as a result of the coronavirus crisis, may delay the delivery of some Boeing and Airbus planes, its chairman said on May 27.
Turkey's flag carrier company had received half of its orders for 25 Boeing 787-9 planes, but the delivery of the rest could be delayed, İlker Aycı told daily Hürriyet.

Turkish Airlines will not operate any domestic or international flights until May 28, the company announced on April 28.

Turkish Airlines mega-operation to bring nationals home
Ahead of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, Turkey's national flag carrier is mounting a massive nine-day operation to bring back Turkish nationals stranded by coronavirus transportation shutdowns.
On April 20-28, Turkish Airlines will operate 195 flights to bring home nearly 25,000 citizens back home from 59 countries as passenger flights were suspended to stem the virus' spread.

The first Serbian national airline to fly to China, the Airbus A330, is already returning from that country and bringing in doctors and medical help. The plane arrives in Serbia at 7.30 pm.

Juneyao Airlines coming to Greece
China's Juneyao Airlines plans to set up branches in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Iceland, Malaysia and Greece, the company said in a filing on Wednesday, as it ventures to Europe and Southeast Asia in a global expansion drive.
Due to foreign ownership rules, Juneyao will need to find local partners in each of the countries.
